Prep:

Before you start, place all the impression putty from your kit in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Then remove it and let it return to room temperature. Wash your hands and brush your teeth. Set a timer on your phone to track each step accurately. Lay out all items from the kit on a clean, flat surface.

Mix and Mold the Material

Mix It: Mix the blue and white putty together for 30 seconds until they blend into a uniform color with no white streaks remaining.

Roll It: Shape the blended putty into a ball, then use the palm of your hands to roll it into a 4-inch-long sausage within 5 seconds.

Place It: Within 5–10 seconds, use your fingers to spread it evenly in the tray and ensure there’s enough putty to capture the entire arch, molar-to-molar.
(Note: Don’t press too hard.)

  • Place the tray in your mouth (upper or lower arch) for 3 minutes.
  • Ensure the handle is aligned under your nose.
  • Bite into the center of the putty.
  • Avoid biting into the outer or inner walls of the tray.
  • Remove the tray with one swift motion (downwards for upper arch and upwards for lower arch) to avoid drag marks.

Note: Don’t remove impressions from trays.

Get Your Impressions Approved

Take clear pictures of your first teeth impression and upload them to the chatbox on our website. Only proceed with creating the remaining impressions once approval has been given by our experts.
